Papio College has also for years offered extracurricular services available to all. They vary from sports activities to cultural activities, from weddings to simple recreational gatherings.
These offerings make it possible to make the facility attractive and usable even during extracurricular times.
Specific provisions exist for each of the following offerings.
Because of its size and excellent acoustics, thechurch of Santa Maria della Misericordia is regularly requested for concerts, both by private individuals and by established institutions such as the Ascona Music Weeks.
The church is equipped with a high-quality organ.
Meeting Room
Theschool assembly hall is the only hall in the municipality with a capacity of up to 250 seats. It is regularly requested for the organization of assemblies, conferences, meetings.
Sports Center
TheCollege's sports center has a gymnasium and swimming pool and is used by sports clubs and groups outside school hours.
Civil Wedding Hall
As of2019, the "Red Room," the College's representative room located on the ground floor of the cloister, is also officially recognized as a hall for civil weddings.
Requests for use of the hall are made through the Ascona Municipal Registry Office (+41 (0)91 759 80 00 - cancelleria@ascona.ch) for administrative matters related to civil status formalities. If requested, it is possible to reserve the cloister and/or the garden of Collegio Papio for needs related to the ceremony.
Events
TheCollege's cloister lends itself very well to the organization of events, and thanks to its "coziness" it provides tranquility and privacy. The porches allow the space to be used in almost all weather conditions. Ceremonies, meetings, presentations, refreshments, lunches, dinners, every event can find its right location.

La brigata di cucina del Collegio Papio propone, in presenza di ospiti per riunioni, concerti, matrimoni ed eventi in genere, un servizio di catering all’insegna della qualità e della simpatia, con particolare attenzione ai prodotti locali e alla genuinità.
In base al budget e alle esigenze specifiche, verrà elaborata una proposta personalizzata che terrà conto dei prodotti di stagione disponibili, delle eventuali allergie alimentari, intolleranze e preferenze dietetiche.
